With Shayne and Kenzie still so little, it is sometimes difficult for us moms to organize fun seasonal crafts for Kolton and Piper like we used to. Still, we make an effort to get them together and let them express their artistic sides in any way we can.
This year, we found some really fun craft projects that was minimal work for us, and maximum FUN for our creative three year olds!
We found two projects for them at Michael’s, and they were both a huge hit! Both kids love stickers, especially the sparkly and puffy kind, and they were each able to decorate their own foam Christmas tree and foam Snowman! We didn’t have to worry about glue sticks or a glittery mess, and everything was already included.
Peeling the backs off the stickers is great for their fine motor skills and placing them wherever they wanted on their festive surfaces really helped with their creative sides.
They were both so proud of their artwork and we were able to help them while still tending to the littler ones.
They really did not want the projects to end. They kept unsticking and re-sticking their stickers back on to make their snowmen and Christmas trees look different.
We highly recommend these projects from Michael’s ages two to five. Especially for parents who are in a pinch for a fun, festive activity for the holidays.
And no day with best friends would be complete without an adorable photo shoot!
