Danielle and I went from living a 3 minute drive/10 minute walk apart to an hour drive (way too far to walk) away from each other. We don’t get together as often as we used to but when we do we always have so much fun! Over the weekend our families got together and spent the weekend over at the Wahlstrom’s home.

The kids played their hearts out while we got to spend some quality time together. We even went out to a bar while the hubby’s watched the kids on Saturday night! I don’t remember the last time that has happened! As much as we both absolutely adore our children it is important to get out on our own and have a little fun once in a while! Girl’s nights are rare these days. After getting one I am already itching for another!

When we woke up in the morning we put on our comfy Shabby Apple dresses and sat outside by the pool with a well deserved mimosa. We chit chatted about our kids, summer plans and of course fashion. These dresses seriously feel like pajamas. They are so comfortable, perfect for a relaxing morning after a late night. We are usually in bed by 9 or 10 so ‘late’ is a relative term. With a few accessories and the right sandals you can really dress these cozy dresses up or keep it casual with flip flops and a bracelet or two.

Shabby Apple has a lot of really cute clothing. I love this skirt and this dress. 🙂

We have teamed up with Shabby Apple for a giveaway! They are giving two lucky readers a $50 gift card to their online shop! To enter comment below with your favorite thing about getting together with your best friend or tell us your favorite summer fashion trend. For an extra entry head over to our Instagram Page!

Good Luck!!

Xoxo,

Alia (& Danielle)

Thank you Shabby Apple for making this post possible!

  1. I feel your pain. my best friend moved a little over an hour away and it’s just not the same. But when we do get together it doesn’t matter what we do as long as we can talk (and talk and talk).
